Ms Glen Zulu is the Chief Financial Officer at the Information Regulator. She holds an MBA degree in Finance from Regent Business School and a B. Com degree from the University of the North Qwaqwa Branch, now regarded as the University of the Free State.

She is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with a track record of clean audits from her previous portfolios. Ms Zulu has more than 25 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining the Information Regulator, she was a CFO at the Presidency for a period of 8 years, where she served as an Audit Risk Committee Member in her capacity as the CFO in the Presidency, at the National Youth Development Agency, and at Brand SA.

Before that, she worked as the Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Science and Innovation.

Ms Zulu started her career in the Public Service at the Department of Public Enterprises; she then navigated her way to a Deputy Director position at the Department of Public Works. In the private sector, in her first job, she was employed by one of the first Black-owned accounting firms in South Africa, Nkonki Sizwe and Ntshaluba (CA) SA, where she was serving her articles.

She also worked for a short while at Transnet Housing prior to diverting into the public sector. Ms Zulu has also served as an Audit Committee member pro bono at Fern Tecl.

She also voluntarily served as a treasurer at St Alban’s Cathedral in Pretoria.
